Are you a fresh nursing graduate or else a retaken of a Nursing Local Exam (NLE)? I want you to help or guide you to be a Registered Nurse. I would like you to share my own experience regarding how to prepare for the incoming exam. Here are some hints to contribute and be able to support you for the November 2009 Nursing Board Exam.
Complete Requirements (For PRC)
• Templates- During my school day’s end we’re so busy to prepare our templates because some clinical instructors are not available to countersign our templates, so make sure all of your templates are perfectly correct so that you may not waste time and money.
• Transcript of records, Birth certificate (NSO), cedula, passport size picture (3 pieces), and payment for the test.
Review Center
Make sure your review center is not after the money. I was enrolled a review center which is need a small number of student, that’s why the lecturer and management are focus to us and it happens to us that were able to one by one oral evaluation. I think it helps me a lot. Some big review centers have more than a 500 reviewers but we’re only 21 that are why most of us were passed.
During Review
I heard to the other seniors who passed they said they take a lot of time to review. They spend their time to review all the time. But I’m not like that; because I review only on the review center almost 8 hours there after then I repose for the rest of my time to relax. I’m just watching TV, chatting and sleep to make my brain cell refreshing for the next review.
Focus is the main key to review.
Have proper diet eat rich in potassium like banana; eat a lot of chocolate to boost our mind and energy drinks.
Hope this hints will help you a lot, this is my own experience I think it is electively not for me but especially to you. Good luck and welcome to the world of RN’s soon.
