How to Register in PRC as a New Board Passer

As a new board passer each and everyone need to register in the PRC for the formality of our profession and for the statistical record to our government. Even though the doctors, teachers, engineers etc need to register on the PRC so, as a new board passer how to be a registered nurse?

Here are some guidelines and step by step mechanism on how to apply for registration process:

1. Check your schedule on the PRC site, make sure that the schedule that you have seen is updated because there are some changes and it also announced only during on oath taking ceremony. The opening of the PRC office 8:00 a.m. so make sure you come early as opening time.
2. Check your requirements are complete. The requirements are Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, 1 short brown envelope with name and profession, Initial Registration Fee of P600, Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2009-2012 and NOA it serves as passes on PRC’s entrance because the security guide check your NOA before you enter on the PRC’s Main Office.
3. Fisrt Step- Go to the 5th floor and use elevator to save your strength, present your Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyon with 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and wait to call your name.
Second Step- After calling of your name the operator will give you instruction how to do next.
Third Step- With your Oath Form you will go to the ground floor/ third floor to pay some fees (Initial in Registration Fee for P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450).
Fourth Step- Go back to the 5th floor for the final step of the procedure and it has a long line but the process is good and fast. This last step you need to present your Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal and brown envelop with name and profession on it and inside on the envelop are1 piece 1” x 1” picture and 1 piece passport size. And the final application will be the last procedure.
